Refund Policy

Initial consultation
The initial consultation call is free of charge, so no refund questions apply — there is no obligation to book further sessions afterwards.
Cancelling with notice
If you cancel or reschedule a session with at least 48 hours’ notice, no charge applies, and any payment already made will be refunded in full or moved to your next session, whichever you prefer.
Late cancellations and missed sessions
Because your session time is reserved exclusively for you, cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, and sessions missed without notice, are charged in full and are not refundable. This reflects standard practice across the counselling profession and helps me keep sessions available and affordable for everyone I work with.
Exceptional circumstances
I understand that emergencies happen. If something outside your control prevents you from attending — illness, a family emergency, and similar situations — please let me know as soon as you can, and I will always consider this with flexibility and compassion on a case-by-case basis.
Ending therapy
You are free to end our work together at any time. Only sessions already attended or charged under the cancellation terms above will be payable — there are no ongoing fees, contracts or commitments beyond the sessions you book.
Payment platform
Payments are processed through my booking platform, OHG Therapy. If a refund is due, it will be issued back to your original payment method via that platform.
