Who I am
All Voices Counselling is the private practice of Mariama Mansfield-Njie (“I”, “me”), an MBACP registered person-centred counsellor based at 41 Berkeley House, Charlotte Street, Bristol, BS2 8UB, United Kingdom. I am the data controller for any personal information you share with me through this website or in the course of our work together.
Information I collect
When you contact me or book a session, I may collect:
- Your name, email address and phone number
- Any message content you send via the contact form or email
- Booking details processed through my third-party booking platform (OHG Therapy)
- Clinical and session notes taken during our therapeutic work, kept separately and securely
How I use your information
- To respond to enquiries and arrange an initial consultation or session
- To provide, plan and record ongoing counselling support
- To meet legal, ethical and insurance obligations as a BACP-registered practitioner
I do not use your information for marketing, and I do not sell or share it with third parties for commercial purposes.
Legal basis
I process your data under the UK GDPR on the basis of consent (initial enquiries and contact form submissions) and contract / legitimate interest (delivering counselling services you have booked).
Confidentiality
Everything shared in session is treated as confidential in line with the BACP Ethical Framework. Confidentiality may only be broken in exceptional circumstances — for example, where there is a risk of serious harm to you or others, or where I am legally required to disclose information. Where possible, I would discuss this with you first.
Data storage and retention
Contact form submissions are sent by email and are not stored on this website. Clinical notes are kept securely, separately from any online system, in line with BACP guidance, and are retained only for as long as professionally and legally necessary before being securely destroyed.
Third-party services
Session bookings are processed via OHG Therapy (booking.ohgtherapy.com), which has its own privacy policy governing payment and scheduling data. I encourage you to review it before booking.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Ask what personal data I hold about you
- Request a copy, correction, or deletion of your data (subject to my professional record-keeping obligations)
- Withdraw consent to being contacted at any time
To exercise any of these rights, please email hello@allvoicescounselling.com. If you remain unsatisfied, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
